Job Description:

As Product Development Manager / Lead, this position will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role is to design innovative solutions to real market problems.
The current interest of the Company is our developed product. The Company has already developed the base product and wishes to enlarge the product offering to include long term productization for sustainability, maintainability and extensibility. As Product Development Manager / Lead, you will lead the design effort on this initiative in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position is to work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction designers, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. This position reports to the VP Operations, with a dotted line reporting to COO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces
Integrating internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience
Creating prototypes and authoring detailed interaction specifications
Working with user experience researchers to design and observe usability studies
Translating usability and field research findings into design improvements
Working with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency
Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale
Version management, version control, main and branch management
Defining and implementation of Coding Standards
Strict code review before acceptance onto source control
Developing UML diagrams
Converting requirements into business use cases
Process automation
Process change and technology change management
Change request impact analysis
Outstation candidates are also welcome. But the candidate should be ready to work in Chennai. No relocation charges are provided.
