Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of software components that enhance. Specific projects might include implementing new features at customer request, rewriting problem areas of existing code and resolving defects in existing code.
* Working closely with QA, UI, Product Management and documentation personnel, who may be situated locally or remotely.
*No management tasks are envisaged
Knowledge and Skills:
* Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Masters degree a plus)
* 2-5 years of solid server-side Java development in a product development company (Solid OOD skills, 2+ years of DB experience (preferably Oracle, PL/SQL), and 1+ years of good XML experience)
*Experience in developing web-based enterprise systems
* Good communication skills, team player and highly motivated individual.
*Ability to quickly grasp and relate product concepts and strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Software development life cycle, and experience with end-to-end development.
Domain knowledge in SCM, CRM, e-Procurement, Sourcing
Knowledge and experience in SaaS based solutions
