GENERAL SUMMARY
Working under minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude, provides technical expertise in developing solutions to complex software engineering problems, which require frequent use of ingenuity and creativity. Provides work leadership to others. Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build onsensus regarding project direction. Assignments may include new products as well as upgrades, and enhancements or fixes to existing products.
Experience & Skills:
Excellent experience of networks, network management and experience with NMS/EMS applications.
Strong application development experience in C/C++, Perl and scripting languages
Knowledge of storage networks and web-based management applications.
Proficient at debugging applications interfacing with other systems, with multi-threaded algorithms, or with real-time processing.
In-depth understanding of technical and business environment.
Experience on Data Com domain.
Exp in SNMP is a plus.
Experience in IP networking (Routing/ OSPF/BGP/MPLS/Firewell/CCNA).
Familiarity with a variety of network equipment & advanced networking concepts a plus.
Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
