PROJECT SUMMARY & POSITION OVERVIEW :
The position comes with the responsibility of owning up all architecture challenges of Management Information Services. Acquiring the best technology in the industry and adapting it to the Business solutions and delivering value would be the basic principle of this position.
ESSENTIAL DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Understand reporting and Data Warehousing needs and provide architectural guidance
2. Consolidate and integrate various Data Warehousing applications to provide a integrated reporting platform for Order-to-Cash
3. Drives technical design and implementation. Proactively raise issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product.
4. Responsible for /Assists in the architectural planning and software design, ensuring coding standards and practices are met in regards to coding and documentation, as well as, providing insight and direction into testing and implementation.
5. Provides demonstrated expertise in Data Warehousing and reporting areas
6. Participates in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and contribute to development project estimates, scheduling, test plans, and code reviews.
7. Collaborates with Business Analysts and other key stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirements.
8. Leads or directs project(s) in area of expertise
9. Demonstrates self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources.
10. Proactively mentors developers/architects within the group.
