JOB DESCRIPTION :

Project Summary & Position Overview:
This position is in Management Information Services Group which takes care of all applications that are used internally to process Order-to-Cash operations. Siebel is used for various functional areas for the over all Order-to-Cash of Thomson Reuters and has one of the largest Siebel implementation in the world. A new initiative has been started to setup a large Siebel team in India and eventually build Center of Expertise (COE) and this position if for a manager to take this initiative forward and accomplish the goal.
Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
Complete Project Management responsibilities for establishing and managing teams.
Derive and deliver Business Solutions and take a leadership role in doing so.
Prepare technical strategy and guide the project in implementing it
Status reporting.
Elementary architectural knowledge.
Lead teams of 10 - 15 resources (TL/SSE/SE).
Implement and rollout defined projects as per schedule.
Follow recommended software development methodology standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management.
Pro-active customer service attitude.
Participate in periodic (daily or weekly) review meetings with the global development group to discuss project status, system design and/or product requirements.
Day to day interaction with project champions and other stakeholders, including product manager, quality assurance, technical support, software developers and globally-based program management and software development groups.
Occasionally travel (domestic and internationally) to other Thomson facilities on project business.
Drive organic growth and improve profitability of the managed projects.
