About the Position:
Designation:
The candidate will be working in rotating shifts and supporting users remotely as well as locally. He/She will also monitor the infrastructure and ensure high availability. The candidate will report to Lead Network Engineer.
Eligibility
-Bachelors in Computers or equivalent with consistent and good academic records.
- Minimum 2 years experience in supporting desktops, laptops, servers, routers, firewalls, switches etc network equipment.
-Experience in using Helpdesk software
- MCSE and CCNA certification would be an added advantage.
Key Skills
-Knowledge of various models of desktops, laptops, servers etc network equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of wireless technologies
-LAN/WAN experience
- VPN experience
-Experience with Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 servers.
- Experience with SQL 7.0, 2000, 2005
-Experience with IIS
- Experience in using Helpdesk software
-Good communication skills and working with users overseas would be an advantage.
- Should not have changed too many jobs
-Good listener and team player
- High energy levels and able to work in different shifts
