Job Details:

Experience
1. Designing extremely scalable and high performing medium to large scale systems involving database back ends.
2. Very good knowledge in scalability, performance, transaction processing, enterprise system architecture and engineering best practices.
3. Very proficient in one or more areas of expertise (languages, OS, technology), expert knowledge in OOAD and UML.
4. Independently translating requirements into functional specifications, system architecture and system design. Should be willing to get hands-on with coding and debugging and troubleshooting when required.
5. Broad computer systems knowledge.
6. Mentoring, developing and training designers into system or sub-system architects.
Platforms and Tools
1. Sun hardware including enterprise servers, storage servers, clusters etc.
2. C/C++ on Solaris OS, compilers, debuggers, performance measurement and analysis tools like DTrace and Rational Purify.
