Engineering Manager responsible for project planning and the execution of System Verification Testing (SVT) phase for ONC (NMS/EMS system for Companys product called Optical Network Control Center) releases in a multi-site R&D environment. Experience in working with networking technologies like DWDM, Optical Switching, Ethernet and Protection Schemes like UPSR, APS, 2f-BLSR, VLSR Core/Metro Transport, Core/Metro switching, and Ethernet transport/switching.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical, project management and personnel leadership to the network element development team.Lead the SVT activates for ONC. Participate in Cross-functional meetings to represent SVT. Be proactive to bring forth ideas to mitigate any issues related to team or
product.Coordinate the sharing of responsibilities between North American and Indian SVT teams. Plan SVT release activities and track progress.xperienced in SVT activities relating to planning, automation, and execution of tests for telecom products.Experienced in leading and managing telecom product development test and verification teams with responsibility of both NE and EMS level manual test activities and test automation development
