Technical Experience:
1. Should have worked is SQL 20002005 administration and performance tuning
2. Installation of SQL Server and Hotfixes *Must Require
3. Working with SQL Server on Cluster (Clustering) *Must Require
4. Performance Tuning and using Performance Monitoring Tools *Must Require
5. SQL Server Reporting Services *Added Advantage
6. Backup Recovery *Required
7. Troubleshooting experience *Must Require
Male or Female candidates who can work in 24X7 shift operation.
Customer Handling Experience
Experience of working with international clients on production servers *Must Require
Communication has to be strong -45 rating Required
Experience in Support environment is required as the role demands troubleshooting.
This is not a SQL Server DBA role, so their day to day activity would not involve 100% DBA task, but they would use 30% of DBA activities mentioned below in their work.
Person should be inclined to so some Application support (past experience preferred) and is not keen to do only Core-DBA Admin jobs
