Job Details:

- Should have strong experience and knowledge in Sybase, Unix, Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting.
- Knowledge and experience in Java , Servlet, Weblogic and tools like JIRA, CVS would be added advantage.
- The candidate should be excellent in communication both verbal and written.
- Good at client interaction
- Should be independent self-starter while still being happy to work as part of a focused team
- Troubleshoot business application problems and determine source, and advise the appropriate action.
- Sybase Database programming skills (SQL queries with complex joins, Stored Procedures with nested loops and cursors, transaction boundaries, query optimization) and understanding of Database Schema (Constraints, Index, etc.) is required.
- Experience on atleast one software development project with involvement in all the phases of SDLC.
- Experience with application deployment (App Server and DB Server) using automated build and packaging tools (Ant, Maven, Make file, etc.).
- Experience with Eclipse IDE and atleast one Application Server (Web Logic, Web Sphere, and JBoss).
- C/C++ programming experience.
- Being aware of new technologies and frameworks.
- Train others (wherever required) in order to ensure knowledge sharing and backup. Mentor junior team members on the technology & processes front.
- Should be open to travel to onsite
