Job Description for Application Security Programmer:
Overall 4-5 years experience in Application Security Assessments
Experience performing Risk assessments required specifically application code reviews
Source Code review from a security perspective (Java, C++, C#, asp, asp.net)
Manual and independent risk assessment experience above and beyond running automated tools required
Experience with code analysis tools, such as Fortify, Appscan, Veracode, Ounce labs, webinspect, virtual forge etc
Thorough knowledge of security design features and able to identify vulnerabilities of security configurations and application code
Strong skills in secure coding concepts, such as buffer overflow, input validation, SQL injection, commented code, error routine, etc.
Familiarity with security concepts, such as authentication, authorization, and encryption
Penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments
