JOB DESCRIPTION :

Project Summary and Position Overview :
This position is in Management Information Services Group which takes care of all Business Systems including applications that are used to process Order-to-Cash operations. These applications are used across the globe and a group of Service Delivery Managers.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
1. Derive and deliver Technical Solution and take a leadership role in doing so.
2. Overall technical responsibility of the EAI project
3. Lead a team of 5-7 (SSE/SE) developers.
4. Design, implement, test, and debug software according to schedules
5. Troubleshoot problems and implement appropriate solutions to problems
6. Follow recommended software development methodology standards
7. Prepare required technical documents
8. Document efforts expended in work-tracking system
9. Perform other related duties as assigned by management
10. Pro-active customer service attitude
11. Participate in periodic (daily or weekly) review meetings with the Manager and/or the Architect and/or the global development group to discuss project status, system design and/or product requirements.
12. Day to day interaction with project champions and other stakeholders, including product manager, quality assurance, technical support, software developers and globally-based program management and software development groups.
13. Occasionally support and maintain production programs and data feeds outside normal business hours
14. Occasionally travel (domestic and internationally) to other Thomson facilities on project business
Qualifications
Educational Qualification :
BE/MCA/MBA from a reputed institute without any gap in academics.
