Job Details:

Position Duties:
Provide technical guidance to software engineers on development of Functional Specs, Design, code and tests.
Provide technical guidance to software engineers in troubleshooting customer issues & software defects reported by customers.
Lead effort estimation, development planning & tracking
Coordinate development of detailed designs, code and test suites within the team.
Allocate work to software engineers, monitor development progress within team, reports progress to Engineering management.
Coordinate with other onsite/offsite teams for issues relating to the assigned product/component.
Provide technical leadership to a team of 4-6 software engineers.
Work closely and cooperatively with other teams/functions to collaboratively execute projects.
Ensure Varian quality systems compliance for all projects
Perform other duties as assigned.
