JOB DESCRIPTION :

Project Summary and Position Overview :
This position is in Management Information Services Group which takes care of all Business Systems including applications that are used to process Order-to-Cash operations. These applications are used across the globe and a group of Service Delivery Managers.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for low level design, writing code to implement system deliverables as defined in business requirements documents, following the system architecture and designs as detailed by the Technical Lead and Architect
2. Document and unit test all code modules using standard tools.
3. Participate during the QA and UAT processes by modifying code to fix any Critical or High defects in order to ensure approval of the deliverable(s)
4. Participate as defined in any Deployment Plans for scheduled or emergency releases of the supported application
5. Adopt and enforce all software development life cycle processes as defined in the TR
6. Immediately raise issues or risks to the successful and timely completion of deliverables to the Project Manager or immediate supervisor
7. Utilize the source code control management systems (Visual Source Safe) to tightly integrate the activities of the teams.
8. Participate in daily review meetings with the Technical Program Manager and/or the Architect and/or the global development group to discuss project status, system design and/or product requirements.
9. Day to day interaction with project champions and other stakeholders, including product manager, quality assurance, technical support, software developers and globally-based program management and software development groups.
