Job Title: Product QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain and execute Automation scripts for Ariba Supplier Network using Selenium and Java.
Track and analyze results of the tests.
Work closely with the developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
Interact closely with members of cross-functional feature teams for product success
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
A total of 3+ years to 5 years experience
Minimum of 1-2 years exp in Java programming or Selenium Automation is must.
Experience with testing enterprise level applications deployed on UNIX/LINUX platforms.
Good knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and programming in JAVA, Java script and PERL.
Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes including automation concepts
Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle/SQL Server/DB2.
Knowledge of Bug tracking tools.
Ability to solve problems from simple to complex and use creative thinking to develop various approaches to problems.
Possess excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
Effective and excellent communication skills in English, including written and oral.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Preferred Skills: Sound knowledge of Java, Oracle, XML and Perl knowledge
