Reports To: Vice President Consulting
Department: Global Solutions Centre (Consulting)
Summary of Title:
Manages and develops a consulting practice in a defined industry or geography. Responsible for the success of the practice, as defined through team development, and innovation ( Introduce efficient project delivery methodology and enforcing process discipline across 100+ employees in the consulting group),financial metrics (project margins, team utilization and profitability) and customer satisfaction (project status, customer satisfaction survey, value created). Works with the Vice President to determine the strategic vision of the organization and all the functions within the business unit.
Education, Qualifications and Capabilities:
Strong academic background with evidence of continuous professional development either at business specific (MBA) or leadership level
Strong communicator, able to influence and collaborate at all levels to maximise problem resolution.
Highly developed people management skills with proven leadership ability, able to lead and motivate teams of people to achieve business and personal goals.
Proven change management and business growth skills
Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial skills with evidence of developing and maintaining business to the benefit of the organisation
Excellent CRM skills with evidence of prior successful client relationships
Requirements: 10-15 years of senior management expertise, either at a technical or functional level
In-depth knowledge of industry sector, proven track record in IT industry at a senior level
Exposure to introducing strong process methodologies.
Exposure to handling large scale accounts with detailed focus on delivering cost efficient project plans
Must be able to travel extensively
