Role Description:
The person should have worked on the product management (which will be his primary role) along with this, he would be involved in:
Business process consulting activities: He will need to know enough of the domain and the processes to visit a client and look at an existing process &
a) Suggest alternatives to the current process involving changes to process, delivery and technology
b) Look at pain points where the product features can be expanded.
Pre Sales: Work on pricing and proposal preparation for assisting the US sales folk with the pre-sale activity
Pre Transition
Subject Matter go to person for the IT technical team
Healthcare exposure on the Payer side is very important and having exposure to operations will be helpful. However, if operations experience is not there, then working on IT projects specifically related to Payer domain will be useful.
