Power System Consultant:
As power system consultant, this person will be primarily be responsible to enable/implement niche and advanced technologies on IBM power Systems/pseries servers involving AIX. In this role , the consultant will engage in various activities such as performance analysis and tuning and architecture assessment, Design and implementation involving IBM power systems/pseries servers including complex and advanced system configurations. This role requires excellent undrstanding of server design, unix/AIX internals, with knowledge and experience to relate end user production configurations to system design/ implementation aspects.
skills Required:
1.Strong Understanding of Unix internals, server design from system software implementation perspective.
2.Prior developement experience involving unix internals such as device drivers, file system developement is desired
3.Programming Language skills "C", korn/bash shell programming
4.breadth of experience involving developement and customer facing roles. experience performing product developement and support / end user implementation roles
5. experience working/implementing server vertualization technoogies such as nPAR, LPARs, Micro-Partition, Sun containers in prior roles
