Senior Software Engineer - Platform for Bangalore MNC Comany
Job description:
The candidate will be involved in the development of platform infrastructure for the wireless mesh nodes.
Responsibilities are to design/develop/test embedded system platform and data-path modules and participate in all the phases in the development cycle from system analysis, design, coding, and system integration test for WiFi-based network devices and system. Tasks include
development of embedded Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
Candidate must be a sharp, self-motivated engineer with a proven background of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements (must have)
1.Bachelors degree in EE/CS and minimum 4 years of experience in the area of platform development. 5-6 years of experience is preferred.
2.Strong "C" and embedded programming/debugging skills
3.Good knowledge of basic OS features like multi-threading, synchronization and memory management on Linux or Linux-like OSes.
4.Good understanding and minimum 2-3 years of experience in using Linux Kernel (networking drivers and network stack) is required. Linux SMP is highly preferred.
