The Oracle Application Database Administrator will have responsibility to manage and support 24x7 production and non-production (test & development) environments and work under minimal supervision.
DBA should have extensive experience working with Oracle E-Business suite Application versions R12, 11i and 11.0.x implemented on multi-tier platform preferably Sun/Linux. DBA would additionally go ON-CALL on a rotational basis with other DBAs, which would involve night and weekend coverage of critical systems and provide tier 1 support to Users. Maintaining and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite modules and providing data management operations to ensure the security, quality, performance and accessibility to the Oracle e-Business Suite.
Responsible for performing data change control, installing and upgrading database and oracle application software, implementing production, test, and development and staging databases. Follow and adhere to policies, procedures and standards relating to database management,
application management, support, and troubleshooting. This role requires thorough understanding of complex database architecture (utilizing new features of Oracle), strict change control process and proactive performance tuning.
