POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for developing diagnostics for board bring-up and design validation.
We are looking for a mid to senior level developer to work in our Hardware Development group. He/she will need to work independently with strong leadership and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for development of the diagnostics SW for Bringup and validation of HW boards and FPGA
Work very closely with HW/FPGA engineers for Bring up and validation of new products.
Responsible for providing test code for manufacturing Test and work closely with Manufacturing test engineers.
Develop diagnostic code for isolation of hardware failures.
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Expertise in developing system level test methodology for chassis based products.
High Level of Expertise in developing low-level software, for CPU and I/O subsystems.
Expertise with high performance device drivers.
Experience with BDM/JTAG/ICE debuggers.
Experience working with PowerPC based microcontrollers and some Network Processors.
Familiarly with lab debug equipments, traffic generaters/testers is desired.
Experience with development of products based onTelecom Technologies e.g. OTN, SONET/SDH, GbE, Fibre Channel, etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
