Job Details:

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated software architect with previous experience in architecting Linux-based products leveraging open source technology. You will work with multiple teams of extremely bright, motivated, energetic people who are passionate about what they do.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to the development team in the Bangalore office
- Contribute to design & architecture for all Barracuda products
- Mentor and guide members of the engineering team as they design and implement components of Barracuda products
- Design and implement key, complex components of Barracuda security products
- Build early prototypes of product components and validate them for technical design and performance
- Work with the engineering team to translate software architecture into design
Experience Required:
- 10+ years experience in system software design with previous software architect role
- Experience in developing Internet security products on Linux
- Network programming skills
- Expert programmer in C and Perl
- Strong customer focus and solid communication skills
- Desire to fight spam and improve internet security
- Engineering/CS degree
