Job Details:

The senior software engineer position will serve as a technical expert for a project team to deliver high technical quality (zero defects) database solutions using industry best practices. This position reports to the Sr. Development Manager.
Job Requirements:
Have at least 12 years of experience in developing database solutions.
Have at least 6 years of experience in designing and developing database solutions using T-SQL in SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
Have experience in designing and developing database solutions that embody theoretical and academic standards for best practice.
Have experience in designing and developing high-volume mission critical transactional and reporting solutions.
Ability to recognize and implement common design patterns and best practices.
Ability to produce technical artifacts including use cases, ER diagrams, unit tests, etc.
Bachelors Degree in computer related area or equivalent relevant work experience
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
80% Technical Design and Implementation
Designing and implement database solutions using best practices in accordance with Lean Software Development principles.
Work with code developers to deliver solutions that separate physical storage from logical view and provide robust high performance solutions.
Ensure business requirements and system requirements are complete and translate them into unit tests, test cases, and other technical artifacts.
Develop logical and physical design documents.
