POSITION SUMMARY: Identify, develop, and manage customers and partners throughout India and targeted areas in South East Asia to grow revenue for CIENA at appropriate margin levels. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales
development strategy to ensure rapid and significant growth of revenue for the short and long term in the region. Position requires an individual with strong account strategy abilities, large system sales background, and a proven track record in winning deals within complex organizations. Individual must be highly motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and motivate direct and dotted-line reports, and able to
handle competing priorities within customer accounts. Person must be a strong team player able to influence supporters across multiple organizations. Strong focus and proven track record winning new business and expanding opportunities in existing accounts.
