Job Details:

Network Support Technician
Provide operational support for Global Data Network Infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve network related issues. Administer all of the tool systems and data bases that relate to the support of the Network Operations Center.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve network problems (LAN, WAN and MAN). Use appropriate tools to monitor and troubleshoot network issues.
Provide outstanding customer service and world class support in a large, fast paced, highly pressurized, corporate environment.
Interface with global carriers to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
Monitor the Global EMC Network utilizing standardized tools and take action when components of the network fail. Follow the escalation process for issues that cant be resolved in a timely fashion.
Working knowledge of networking (wired and wireless), protocols (TCP/IP and sub netting), VPN, and basic commands from the command prompt (ipconfig, tracert, etc.)
