Job Details:

Good knowledge of C Programming, scripting languages like Perl.
Good knowledge of DSP based embedded systems
Must have exposure to AV codecs and their standards like MP3, AAC, WMA9, Vorbis, H.264, MPEG4, MPEG2, WMV9, etc.
Must have independently developed AV codec test cases and executed them.
Must have exposure and test execution experience on DSP based platforms like TI Davinci / OMAP.
Candidates must have experience in embedded multimedia testing/validation/QA ranging from 2 to 5 years. Of which, significant portion should be in Audio/Video codec testing.
Developing the codec test cases, creating test setups, performing actual test, creating test and bug reports, and assuring the quality of codecs
released to customers. Preferably, must have done the above on embedded systems.
Developing test scripts
Automating test procedures wherever possible
Work with codec development teams to through all phases of codec development from test perspective
Assist test manager in test planning
