Job Details:

Please only apply if you have had direct experience running an email server that was used to send out high volumes of email newsletters.
Some of the key skills are:
- managing a white label Linux server
- setting up domainkeys, SPF, PTR and Sender ID records
- a good understaning of how to manage bounce backs from an email newsletter campaign,
- understanding email headers and knowing how to improve or change them
- integrating Spamassassin into an email marketing tool
- knowledge of PHP and MySQL (so you can instruct and developer)
- making an email server secure
- working knowledge of PostFix software for sending out emails
- maximising deliveribility of newsletter campaigns
- communicate PHP and MySQL instructions clearly to developers
The role is not a full time, but ideal for an expert looking to supplement their existing income helping develop this service as and when their services are needed.
