Job Details:

IMS DBA
Provide Installation, administration and maintenance support primarily for Database systems and related products in a fast paced production environment.
Responsibilities include ongoing system administration, configuring, managing, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience required in scripting languages like shell/perl/java/php is highly desirable.
Perform analysis, design, and implementation of IMS and VSAM data structures that supports information needs.
Analyze business application requirements and develop specifications for database construction and maintenance.
Maintain the Data Dictionary (Data manager) as a viable support product for Information Systems, making changes/enhancements or applying maintenance as needed.
Ensure that all database structures, data definitions, copybooks, programs, JCL, reports, transactions, terms and data elements (or meta data) within sphere of responsibility is managed on the Data Dictionary (Data manager).
Resource will ensure 24x7 supports in shifts
