We have a job opening for a SAN Storage Engineer /Storage Support/Support, Storage Administrator, SAN Storage Support Engineer, for a group company, of a very large conglomerate at Muscat Oman.
Position : EMC SAN specialist
Location : Muscat, Oman
Description:
EMC Storage Administration , SAN Fabric zoning , SAN Management tools like EMC Control Center , Symcli , Navisphere , Navi-cli , EMC Connectrix Manager , CISCO Device manger and CISCO Fabric manager
Proven EMC SAN skills to enable the client to develop the Capacity Management & Capability of the SAN.
Good knowledge on Enterprise Storage hardware & software ( i.e. SAN, NAS ); Knowledge of SAN Fabrics;SAN array technology hardware and software - EMC Clariion
Would prefer if Involved in typical data centre activities like deployment, migrations, upgrades, decomms, etc. - Participation in Disaster Recovery
tests which occur at weekends
Candidate will need to create day management when necessary. Assist in the day to day management of the SAN, when necessary
