Responsibilities
Responsible for all escalated incidents / events for resolutions and further escalate to the Global Team where local support is required.
Carry out advanced monitoring & control of components used across the platforms as per global processes in order to ensure effective monitoring functionality.
Provide information / reports to supervisors and customers in the event of major operational disturbances in the business systems in order to make effective changes and carry out maintenance.
Education & Relevant Experience
Diploma in Computer Science or any Degree + Advanced Unix Certifications (e.g. Opengroup Redhat etc.).
More than 4 Yrs experience on Unix/Linux Server Operations and Event Management.
Prior experience in Monitoring would be advantage.
Advanced knowledge of the UNIX environment
Experience in UNIX event management and administration
Advanced trouble shooting in UNIX environment
