Role & Responsibilities
Be responsible for Quality Assurance of software releases; Manage & direct testing team, strategies, and processes; Develop quality related processes and integrate these processes with software development during all phases; Experience with build and release management;
Experience with version control systems, Subversion, CVS, Sourcesafe; Experience with Windows and Linux scripts, testing tools, automation tools; Knowledgeable about software development methodologies, esp. Agile; Familiar with log files and log analysis tools; Test Strategy, Test Planning, Effort Estimation, Project Planning & Tracking, Test Metrics, Test Management, Test Bed Setup, Defect Management, Test Coordination with Global Teams and Manual Testing Solution Designs; Functional Testing Black Box Testing, Integration, System, Installation, Deployment, Backend Testing; Test Case Design, Manual & Automated Test Execution, Test reporting, Defect Analysis, Test, Test Automation Planning, Test Automation Framework Design & Development; Performance, Scalability, Availability Test Planning, Execution and Analysis; Create and evaluate test data and test cases from Business requirements; Prepare monthly/weekly SQA audit reports
