JOB DESCRIPTION :

This individual will be responsible for the IMS Subsystem Support on z/OS. This high-energy, results oriented job requires a balance of technical

skills and business processes, a sense of urgency resolving problem issues, creativity, work schedule flexibility, adaptability to changing

business conditions and a commitment to customer satisfaction
Work with the team on the Installation of IMS and IMS Tools for z/OS product versions/releases. Understand and work with the team on apply

proactive software maintenance. Work with the team on perform problem diagnostics and resolution. Perform IMS system Monitoring,

performance and tune knowledge. Work with the team on providing input to management on infrastructure architecture related issues. Basic IMS

performance knowledge on identify improvement opportunities. Conduct Production Readiness Inspections of change events, assessing impacts

and risks. Develop wellness check scripts, processes and procedures. Contribute to Root Cause Investigation. Document changes to

infrastructure configuration. Update system Configuration and resource definitions when required.
