We use java for backend and application server development and not for developing web pages. So the job is quite
challenging and requires a technicalluy competant candidate than an average front end developer.
For example, we have our own(propreitary) workflow engines to do various tasks like video encoding etc. This is a
distributed application runing on an farm of servers with load balancing and autosizing implemented.
The hosting is done on Amazon ec2 platform which provide virtual servers and the servers can be started or killed
automatically.
