JOB DESCRIPTION :

Title: iSeries(AS400) Administrator
Location: Bangalore
Employment Status: Full-Time/Employee
Travel: None
Description:
Manage iSeries hardware and software in accordance with Lottery standards and provide support to
the Technical Services Manager.
Duties:
Performs daily preventative maintenance and administration of multiple iSeries with multiple OS400
partitions.
Performs installation, maintenance and upgrades of iSeries software and hardware.
Updates and maintains IBM HMC (Hardware management console) as required.
Monitors iSeries mirroring software and evaluates problems as they occur.
Evaluates new iSeries or PC hardware and software designated by Technical Services Manager.
Coordinates and works with various vendors on hardware/software maintenance or problems.
Maintains inventory lists of all iSeries computer related equipment throughout the Lottery.
Ability and flexibility to be on call - after hours will require immediate attention.
Assists in the maintenance of policies and procedures used and followed by the Technical Services
Manager and IS Department Director.
